The great bubbling pot where music today "trad."or "world" with other, stronger flavors are released and attract curious musicians in search of new sonic spaces. By dint of plunging their hands and simmer ... Thus was born the kitchen of ALIGOTE ELEMENTS, with its balance of acoustic instruments, his repertoire to many inspirations (archaisms of the wildest tradition to a very modern groove) and a center of gravity located in Auvergne. While cultivating relationships with a passion but free wealthy heritage and their own compositions, they restore a living dimension and "all age" to the music from and inspired by the popular tradition. Vocals, violins, bass, percussion and drums, hurdy-gurdy, accordion, bagpipes, clarinet and saxophone do not hesitate to switch roles and circulate energy drawn from a mixture of sounds and rhythms that slips ear to toe. Their first album, released in 2000 ("La Révoltés du Pounti"), then a second in 2003 ("Le Signal Du Luguet") (both published in Modal / L'Autre Distribution) embody this creative process.
