Right or Wrong topped Billboard's (North America) Top Country albums chart, and peaked at #163 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The singles "You Look So Good in Love" (which was Strait's first to have a music video), "Right or Wrong" and "Let's Fall to Pieces Together" both topped the Hot Country Singles chart.

The album Pure Country is the soundtrack to the movie Pure Country, and all songs are sung by George Strait. It was released in 1992 by MCA Records. The album spent 393 weeks on Billboard's Top Country Catalog Albums, peaking at position #3. It is Strait's most commercially successful studio album, having sold over six million copies.

his was the first album of Strait's career to feature Tony Brown, who has produced all of Strait's subsequent albums. Strait and Brown produced the entire album except for the main title sequence version of "Heartland", which was produced by Steve Dorff.

Music videos were made for "I Cross My Heart" and "Heartland." Both of these songs were Number One hits for Strait on the Billboard country charts, and "When Did You Stop Loving Me" (which was later covered by George Jones on his 1998 album It Don't Get Any Better Than This) was a #6 hit. "Overnight Male", originally recorded by B.B. Watson on his 1991 debut album Light at the End of the Tunnel, also charted at #72 from unsolicited airplay. "The King of Broken Hearts" and "Where the Sidewalk Ends" were written or co-written and originally recorded by Jim Lauderdale on his album, Planet of Love. The former was later covered by Mark Chesnutt on his 1995 album Wings, and by Lee Ann Womack on her 2008 album Call Me Crazy. The latter was also recorded by Jann Browne on her 1991 album, It Only Hurts When I Laugh.

Carrying Your Love With Me is the title of an album released in 1997 by American country music singer George Strait. It was released by MCA Nashville Records and it produced four singles for Strait on the Billboard country charts. "One Night at a Time", the title track, and "Round About Way", respectively the first, second, and fourth singles, all reached Number One, while "Today My World Slipped Away" (a cover of a Vern Gosdin song) reached #3. Eddie Kilgallon, then a member of the band Ricochet, co-wrote "One Night at a Time". The album has been certified 3× Multi-Platinum by the RIAA for shipping three million copies in the U.S.

The song "She'll Leave You with a Smile" is not to be confused with another song with the same name which Strait recorded on his 2002 album The Road Less Traveled. This latter song, which was written by Odie Blackmon and Jay Knowles, was released by Strait in 2002, and became a Number One for him that year.

Troubadour is the title of the 25th studio album by American country music singer George Strait. It was released on April 1, 2008 (see 2008 in country music) on MCA Nashville Records. The album comprises twelve tracks, including two duets. The lead-off single, "I Saw God Today", was the highest-debuting single of Strait's career, and his forty-third Number One on the Billboard country charts. The album has been certified gold by the RIAA. At the 51st Grammy Awards, Troubadour earned the Grammy Award for Best Country Album, the first Grammy win of Strait's career. As of May 24, 2009, the set has sold 863,415 copies in the United States.

"I Saw God Today", the lead-off single, debuted at #19 on the Billboard, Hot Country Songs chart, giving Strait the highest chart debut of his career. This song went on to become his 43rd Billboard Number One, and his 56th on all trade charts, setting a new record for most Number One singles. The album's title track was released in June 2008 as its second single, and peaked at #7 on the country charts. Following it was "River of Love", which debuted at #45 in November 2008, and reached #1 in April 2009.

Strait Out of the Box is country music singer George Strait's box set It contains four CDs worth of music, dating from 1976 all the way to 1995. Most of the songs are greatest hits, but it contains previously unreleased music as well; songs that were recorded, but were outtakes until 1995. It also contains Strait's three songs recorded in the 1970's for indie label D Records.

"Check Yes or No" and "I Know She Still Loves Me" were both released from this set as singles. Respectively, they reached #1 and #5 on the Billboard country charts.

50 Number Ones is a compilation album, released in 2004, by American country music singer George Strait. It is a compilation of his first 50 Number One country music singles, starting with 1981's "Fool Hearted Memory" and presented in chronological order. A new track, "I Hate Everything", was also included, and became his 51st overall Number One in 2004. The figure of 50 Number Ones relies not just on songs that have reached the top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, but also of those which topped the Radio & Records and Gavin Report charts. The album has been certified 7× Multi-Platinum by the RIAA.

Many of the songs are edited from their album versions.
