Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is the second studio album by American country artist, Miranda Lambert. The album was released May 1, 2007 on Columbia Nashville Records and was produced by Frank Liddell and Mike Wrucke. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was Lambert's first studio album released under the Columbia Nashville label, as 2005's Kerosene was issued on Epic Nashville Records. The album received high critical acclaim, with critics commenting on Lambert's revengeful material. The album went to number one on the United States' Top Country Albums chart and also reached #6 on the overall American chart. Out of the album's four singles, three were major hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart between 2007 and 2009. "Gunpowder & Lead," the third single released from the album, became her first Top 10 hit on the country chart in 2008. Other singles spawned from the album were, "Famous in a Small Town," and "More Like Her."

Miranda Lambert - Miranda Lambert (2001)



The very rare independent release from Miranda Lambert. This was released independently while Miranda was trying to land a major record label contract. The production is definitely not as good as a major label can afford, however, the quality is surprisingly good. The lesser quality production shows most in the sound of Miranda's voice which, compared to the big dollars that a major label can afford, makes Miranda's voice sound a lot younger and without the depth that she's capable. With that said, however, it's still a great album for Miranda Lambert fans. As her hardcore fans already know, this album didn't sell very well (probably due mainly to a lack of advertising). In 2003 she made a name for herself while competing in the CMT show "Nashville Star" which was virtually identical to American Idol except that it showcases country artists. She ended up coming in third place behind Buddy Jewell (winner) and John Artur Martinez (second place). For those who find her as hot as I do you may be interested to know that the last reports I heard had her dating fellow country music star Blake Shelton.

Miranda Lambert - Kerosene (2005)



Although Lambert wrote "Kerosene" herself, she gave co-writer's credit to Steve Earle on the song, as she felt that the song sounded similar to his song "I Feel Alright".

Kerosene is the major-label debut album of Country music singer Miranda Lambert, released on March 15, 2005 (see 2005 in country music) on Epic Records. The album has been certified Platinum in the United States for shipments of one million copies. It produced four top 40 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts: "Me and Charlie Talking" (#27), "Bring Me Down" (#32), "Kerosene" (#15), and "New Strings" (#25).

Miranda Lambert - Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2007)




Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is the second solo album by American country singer Miranda Lambert. The album was released on May 1, 2007 on Columbia Records Nashville.

Following its release, the album debuted at number six on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling about 53,000 copies in its first week. As of April 04, 2009 the set has sold 732,417 copies in the U.S and has been certified Gold by the RIAA. This album was #26 on Rolling Stone's list of the Top 50 Albums of 2007. The title track was #28 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007.

As of 2008, four singles have been released from the album, all four of which have entered the Hot Country Songs charts. The title track peaked at #50, while "Famous in a Small Town" reached #14. This song was followed by "Gunpowder & Lead", which entered Top Ten on the country charts in July 2008, giving Lambert her highest-charting single. "More Like Her" was released as the fourth single on September 1, 2008. A week before the single's release it debuted at #54 on the country charts, and was a Top 20 hit.

At the 2008 Academy of Country Music awards, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend won the Album of the Year award.

Dead Flowers is the first EP release from American country artist Miranda Lambert. The EP was released on September 8, 2009 on Columbia Records' Nashville division exclusively to Best Buy stores. It includes four songs, including the single "Dead Flowers" and three bonus tracks previously included only on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Lambert's full-length, third studio album, Revolution, was released on September 29, 2009.

Miranda Lambert - Revolution (2009)





Revolution is the third studio album by American country music singer Miranda Lambert. The album was released on September 29, 2009 via Columbia Nashville. The album includes the singles "Dead Flowers" and "White Liar," both of which have charted on the U.S. Billboard country chart.

Lambert began working on Revolution in February 2009. She wrote or co-wrote all but four of the album's 15 tracks. The album includes co-writes with her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, and former Columbia Records artist Ashley Monroe. Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood of Lady Antebellum co-wrote "Love Song," on which they also sing background vocals. The album also includes covers of Fred Eaglesmith's "Time to Get a Gun" and John Prine's "That's the Way the World Goes 'Round".

To help promote the album, an EP titled Dead Flowers was released on September 8, 2009. The EP, available exclusively at Best Buy stores, features "Dead Flowers" and three bonus tracks previously included on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

The album's lead single, "Dead Flowers", was released in May 2009 following Lambert's performance on the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. The song reached a peak of #37 in July 2009 after spending sixteen weeks on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. "White Liar" was released as the album's second single in August 2009 and has entered the chart as well.

On September 24, 2009, Lambert performed all the tracks on Revolution in sequence at the Ryman Auditorium, five days before the album's scheduled release date.
