St. Louis-based jazz, soul, and R&B trombonist Lamar Harris has shared the stage with a variety of musical stars, including George Benson, The Cab Calloway Orchestra, Common, Earth Wind & Fire, and Dr. John. He has established himself as a top-notch band leader for his own material and also for national touring acts when they perform in St. Louis. Most recently Lamar led the backing bands for touring artists Algebra and Chico DeBarge. In his performances, Harris creates an eclectic blend of horns, electric sounds, and vocals. Lamar has released 3 albums as a leader and producer- Your All, Live at the Bistro, Groove Therapy and his 4th, The Here and After will be released this Fall.
