Rodney Franklin - Learning To Love

This album by keyboard player Rodney Franklin was released in 1982 on Columbia Records and finds him more in a pop-funk setting. The production by Stanley Clarke is flawless and the musicians ranging from Roland Bautista, Abe Laboriel, John Robinson, Denzil Miller, Mike Sembello, Nathan East, Alphonse Mouzon to Todd Cochran are first-rate. His cover of "Sailing" is very nice with some great input by Tom Scott on sax and lyricon.
