Buckethead, Travis Dickerson - The Dragons of Eden (2008)



Naslov albuma je vezan za knjigu "The Dragons of Eden" koju je napisao Carl Sagan 1977. godine. Brian Carroll (Buckethead) je sve osim predvidiv muzicar. Njegove gitare variraju izmedju ambijentalne, eksperimentalne i metal muzike i gotovo nikad ne znate sta vas ocekuje na nekom od njegovih izdanja. Tako je i sa ovim albumom koji je radnjen u saradnji sa Travis Dickerson-om. Gotovo na kompletnom izdanju se moze primetiti da gitare nisu te koje vode "glavnu rec", vec u prednji plan oni isticu klavijature i violoncelo, sto bas i nije svojstveno Brian -u, ali kao sto sam rekao, on ume da iznenadi. Saradnja sa muzicarima na ovom izdanju je savrsena i kvalitet nije izostao.

Buckethead je jedan od najpopularnijih muzicara danasnjice i njegova diskografija obuhvata prilican broj zanrova: Metal, Techno, Soft Rock, Blues, Country, Avant-Garde, Ambience, Jazz Fusion... "A Real Diamond In The Rough" je dvadeset cetvrti njegov album koji ni malo ne podseca na predhodne. Muzika je dosta smirenija i laganija i ni reci od eksperimenata i metala na kakve smo navilkli slusajuci njegove predhodne albume. Od kada je izasao ( maj 2009. ) album je do kraja godine rasprodat. U principu ovaj album nece privuci nove fanove i ja sam zaista iznenadjen koliko ovaj covek jos uvek ima ideja...Uzivajte!

Buckethead - Captain Eo's Voyage (2010)



Captain EO's Voyage is the twenty-ninth studio album released by guitarist Buckethead.

The album was first made available only as a download through iTunes, but 2 days after the release it was announced that the album would be released on CD through TDRS Music. It is also the first solo release since Kaleidoscalp (2005) that has not been released first through TDRS. The pre-order of the album, along with Left Hanging, started on October 29 with a tentative release of December 1. Eventually, the CD was released on November 29.
