The Housemartins were an English pop band that was active in the 1980s. The band was formed in 1983 by Paul Heaton (who later formed The Beautiful South) and one of the members was Norman Cook (who would later continue to work as praised songwriter, performer, DJ and producer Fatboy Slim). The band split in 1988, but the members have since remained friends and worked on each other's projects.

London 0 Hull 4 is their first album and contains the singles "Flag Day" (chart No.58 in the UK), "Sheep" (No.54 in the UK), "Happy Hour" (No.3 in the UK) and "Think for a Minute" (No.18 in the UK). In 1992, the album was re-released on CD and featured four additional tracks, along with the front cover phrase, "16 songs - 17 hits!"
