The Evil of Frankenstein is a 1964 film directed by Freddie Francis and written by Anthony Hinds. Peter Cushing stars as a impoverished Baron Frankenstein who returns home with his assistant Hans (Sandor Elès) with the intention of continuing his horrific experiments. He acquires the services of mesmerist, Zoltan (Peter Woodthorpe) to animate his newest creation and uses the creature to commit thefts and punish his enemies.
