Rustler's Rhapsody
Our hero (Tom Berenger) rides into town with his wagonload of 50's B-movie style costumes, his guitar and a 'shucks, maam!' mentality.
He's the good guy. And every town he rides into is the same - Same Tart-with-a-Heart, same Town-Drunk, same Colonel-who-lives-in-a-train-and-is badly-dubbed...
Both the tart and evil-baron's-daughter like to visit him after hours, with the town drunk.
It's all perfectly innocent, until the Good-guy starts getting under the skin of the Bad-guys and they hire ANOTHER Good-Guy to shoot
it out with him (Patrick Wayne, incidentally)...
and as we all know, in Westerns only one Good-Guy can win.
Will it be our drug addled hero, or Wrangling Bob?
This is a truly superb pastiche of spaghetti westerns and 50's B-westerns.
It is one of those rarest of creatures: an absolutely fantastic, funny film... which no one has ever heard of.
