Charming performances and nice direction make this tale of the perfect crime especially watchable. Edward G. Robinson, getting on in years, wants one last big heist. With the help of Joan Collins (in her considerable prime) and Rod Steiger, he gets his chance. From the Max Catto novel "Lions at the Kill." Surprisingly witty and light-hearted for this subject matter, and good still comes out ahead of evil.
