Kane & Abel (1985)

Starring: Peter Strauss, Sam Neill, Veronica Hamill

A stirring miniseries about a decades-long duel between a hotel and a banking tycoon. Abel believes he, rather his mentor, was wronged by Kane, and he sets on a path to destroy William Kane, while becoming one of the pre-eminent hotel barons in the United States. Fictitious story, though I know of some examples from where this story could have come. It is based on a best-selling book. Pitch-perfect performances by Strauss and Neill. Enjoy!
