Jazz FM is delighted to announce the release of its new 'Sound of Jazz FM 2010' CD on Monday 18th October 2010.This album brings together a selection of music handpicked by Jazz FM's Mike Vitti, Steve Quirk and Ralph Tee, a heady mixture of Smooth and Contemporary Jazz and Luxury Soul alongside jazz, funk and soul classics.

'The Sound of Jazz FM' covers all the bases. We've included established classics such as The Isley Brothers' 'Harvest For The World' and fantastic material from the likes of Grover Washington Jr., Gladys Knight and the Pips, Incognito and Dee Dee Bridgewater as well as the next generation of superstars including Angela Johnson, Eileen Hunter and Avery Sunshine, but it wouldn't be a 'Sound of Jazz FM' CD without some exclusive treats - the album features Earth Wind & Fire and Boney James remixes which you won't hear anywhere else. We've also unearthed a very rare track by Airto Moreira and the Mtume-produced masterpiece 'Dreamin' by The Heath Brothers.

We can think of no finer way to celebrate our second anniversary than by kicking back and enjoying 'The Sound of Jazz FM 2010'.
