MathType is a powerful interactive tool for Windows and Macintosh that lets you create mathematical notation for word processing, web pages, desktop publishing, presentations, and for TeX, LaTeX, and MathML documents. MathType 6 for Windows:

* ********* Windows Vista, XP, and 2000.
* 10 MB free hard disk space.
* MathType will run on any Windows computer. MathType is not RAM-intensive so listing its requirements is not necessary.
* CD-ROM for installation (not required if product is downloaded via the Internet).
*MathType does not require ********* Office or ********* Word. However, it adds a MathType ribbon to Word and PowerPoint 2007, and a MathType toolbar and menu to Word 2003, 2002 (XP) and 2000.
